I was sad to learn yesterday that a local food center where I get much of my organic foods and vegetarian items is closing. The food center has been in business for 17 years. I was pleasantly surprised on a recent trip to the food store. I live in a small town of 2,000 residents that sits half way between a major city and a college town. The hometown grocery doesn't offer much for organic and no specific vegetarian or vegan products.
